Golden handed Dil Raju never picks up dubbing films either for production or for distribution because he believes more in Telugu sentiments and native emotions. However, he is handling the release and business of Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s ‘Theri’ Telugu dubbed version ‘Policeodu.’ The movie is getting ready for a grand release this week in two Telugu states receiving U certificate from Censor board.
Why is Dil Rju so impressed by this dubbing flick? ‘As you people know, I don’t release dubbed films in Telugu unless and until there is something special in them. I liked Mani Ratnam’s ‘OK Bangaram’ and so released it in Telugu. Likewise, when I saw few scenes from ‘Theri’ in Chennai and later heard the story, I was totally impressed. I’ve decided then and there to bring this product for Telugu people.
Earlier to this, I liked director Atlee’s ‘Raja Rani.’ I was impressed with the way he handled that film and I am sure ‘Policeodu’ will do big here too,’ Dil Raju said at the press meet yesterday wherein heroine Samanta and director Atlee were also present.
