Star comedian Brahmanandam’s presence isn’t so encouraging in terms of commercial results of his movies but for sure his demand hasn’t come down. Brahmi is now all set to join the sets of an upcoming Kannada and Telugu bilingual titled ‘Jaguar.’ Well, this is not for Kannada version but it’s for Telugu version the actor will join the film’s third schedule in May which is likely to happen for one month around Mysore.
‘Jaguar’ is the launch pad film for debutant hero Nikhil Gowda, son of Karnataka former Chief Minister HD Kumar Swamy Gowda. While story and script is written by Rajamouli’s father K Vijayendra Prasad, the project is made on a budget of 15 Crores.
‘Brahmanandam plays a prominent role in the film. He has allotted 30 days of call sheets. For Kannada version, Sadhu Kokila is reprising Brahmi’s role. ‘Jaguar’ is a complete commercial entertainer,’ says a Kannada movie source. Directed by Mahadev, ‘Jaguar’ is planned for a parallel Telugu, Kannada release within this year.
