Although ‘Andala Rakshasi’ was a failure, the film won appreciations from a section of public for soothing visuals and awesome color combinations which made the whole show delightful. How come a director with such aesthetically pleasing narrative jumped on to rugged Rayalaseema topographies and quirky characterizations as shown in ‘Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha’ trailer?
‘If Andala Rakshasi was poetry then KGVPG is prose. This is a lot more fun. The main film is quirky love story in factionist backdrop of Anantapur. The protagonist Krishna played by Nani is of a meek guy in love with Maha Lakshmi. On what sort of adventure hero goes off for Maha Lakshmi is rest,’ Hanu explained the theme in one line.
