Amidst high drama, Tamil Star Hero Vijay’s ‘Puli’ actually aimed for a grand release worldwide today is seeing unforeseen situations with yesterday’s Income Tax raids on the officers of Vijay, Samanta, Nayanthara and ‘Puli’ producers. While some say, there is a big political force behind this action to suppress Vijay’s image, others say this is a regular phenomenon which many big films face in Kollywood.
Earlier to this, even Kamal Hasan’s ‘Vishwaroopam, Uttama Villain’ or Vijay’s ‘Thalaiva’ (in Telugu ‘Anna’) or the latest Rajinikanth’s ‘Lingaa’ also faced several obstacles on its way to release. As of now, latest reports suggest about ‘Puli’ shows might be possible only in afternoon as Vijay is solving the puzzle with negotiations from top level Tamil Nadu politicians.
Meanwhile ‘Puli’ being a fun filled fantasy film with huge star cast, there is some excitement observed even in Telugu states despite knowing a fact that Vijay hasn’t enjoyed any big mileage in our states. Here comes the best of opportunity for ‘Puli’ to enjoy a hit status in AP, TS. How far Vijay succeeds this time has to be wait and seen.
