Stylish director Surender Reddy bagged a bumper offer of directing Ramcharan and the project happens to be the remake of Kollywood super hit ‘Thani Oruvan.’ Till yesterday, there were plenty of speculations on Mohan Raja, the director of Tamil original will also direct the Telugu version but he is now in Mumbai negotiating Bollywood remake deal of same subject with Salman Khan.
When Charan explained the necessity of beginning the Telugu remake at earliest possible, Mohan Raja agreed to the proposal of roping in Surender Reddy as Telugu version’s captain. DVV Danayya and NV Prasad are to act as main producers while the remake rights are purchased from Mohan Raja at a whopping price.
Surender Reddy is blamed unanimously for ‘Kick 2’flop verdict which went over the board in budget terms. In no time, Surender bagging a Ramcharan flick despite a flop in his previous film should be considered very lucky. Let us wait for more official updates on ‘Thani Oruvan’ Telugu remake.
