No heavy buildup shots and no big fights in the new ‘Srimanthudu’ trailer. Yet, it holds the attention of every viewer. There is crisp and leviathan writing went into the movie, says the trailer. Koratala Siva is director for this film. Before becoming a director, he proved as an excellent writer. ‘Character Koththagaa Undi Kadaa Ani Try Chesa… Lopala Original Alaane Undi…,’ theaters went in loud whistles for NTR. Was there any heroism or powerful punch in this line?
That’s the simplicity in this director cum writer. Writing is of course not a child’s play but Koratala’s pen follows elementary lessons to entertain us. The same is repeated in the dialogues of ‘Srimanthudu.’ Story is open and clear. Son of a rich businessman is on mission adopting his native village with vigor to serve for change. Script becomes bound with love story, romance and environment thereof in village. This is enough of a consignment for writers to pen purposeful dialogues and Koratala seems to be an easy winner.
Mahesh Babu’s appearance and costume selection are also in sync with the characterization. Although, it is too early to speculate the core material in ‘Srimanthudu’ but there is a positive mood shaping up.
