Kichcha Sudeepa, the talented Kannada Super Star is getting very busy in Tollywood after the superb portrayal of antagonist character in ‘Eega.’ Immediately, there was no second thought for SS Rajamouli to call Sudeepa for a special role of Aslam Khan in ‘Bahubali.’ Although first part of the magnum opus introduced Sudeepa as a weapon seller who befriends with Army Chief Kattappa after a courageous sword fight, there was no mention of Sudeep further in the film.
According to film sources, Aslam Khan’s character would get good screen time in ‘Bahubali 2’ during the episodes when Shivudu, Kattappa would wage a fierce battle against Bhallala Deva. Director SS Rajamouli has already shot few portions of these sequences on Sudeep and he will be canning more in coming days.
Aslam Khan’s characterization in ‘Bahubali 2’ echoes that of Sher Khan in ‘Magadheera’ portrayed to perfection by Late Sreehari. As we all know, none other than Sreehari could have oozed the life to 100 Men episode. Same would be the deadly punch from Sudeepa when Shivudu, Kattappa come in encounter with Bhalladeva. Undoubtedly, Sudeepa’s performance should remind us of Real Star Sreehari’s greatness.
