When many of the top celebrities from cinema industry are enjoying the appreciations heaped on social networking for their association with ‘Bahubali,’ there is one key man Sathya Raj who says, ‘I am neither on Twitter nor on Facebook but still I am getting the feedback of appreciations from Tamil Nadu because ‘Bahubali’ is a direct Tamil film and is a super hit here,’ Sathya Raj is enjoying every moment.
At the age of 60, doing a character like Mahishmati Kingdom’s Army Chief Kattappa was not an easy task. Right from the styling to body language, Sathya Raj stood as heart for the film. ‘I dreamt of doing a folklore character at the age of 24 and now I realized it at 60. Although age was never a matter for me but it was a long wait to see someone like Rajamouli,’ the actor less than Rajinikanth’s age said.
Sathya Raj completed more than 200 films and ‘Bahubali’ is a feather in my cap. He learnt sword fighting 30 years ago. ‘I can perform sword fights with two hands at one time. Difference for ‘Bahubali’ is, the style was new and Peter Hein taught it so easily. Grammar is the same but I need to change the body language,’ Kattappa informed.
