It’s the time for socio-fantasy encounters in Tollywood. Thanks to the mindboggling SFX and imaginative scripting, Telugu movies made characters like Lord Yama and Lord Indra speak to common audience.
Be it “Jagadeka Veerudi Athiloka Sundari” or “Yamudiki Mogudu” ; “Yama Leela” or “Yama Donga” ; “Devi” or “Anji”, the trend for socia-fantasy films is already laid. Now ace director Raghavendra Rao’s son Prakash Rao’s “Chandi” in the combination of Kajal, Siddhartha, Shruthi Hasan from the production house of MS Raju will soon hit the floors.
“I succeeded with Devi and am doing Chandi in the same genre. Kajal aptly fits into this larger-than-life role. This will be among the costliest films I’ve done so far because of the breath-taking graphics. The film will go on floors from January 2010,” said the confident MS Raju. With most costly graphics ever seen in world cinema, “Chandi” is all set to over cross “Arundhathi.”
