In a generation where film is more seen as a sound medium, obviously the invention of DTS changed the face of Indian cinema. From last two decades or so, the only name we hear regularly in DTS mixing is Madhusudan Reddy. The awesome and popular technician who gave life for many films with his magical DTS touch is no more.
Madhusudan Reddy, D.F.Tech breathed his last today suffering with a massive cardiac arrest. Movies like ‘Gulabi, Sisindri’ in the past to audio DTS mixing for ‘Mirchi, Manam,’ he left a stunning impact. All in all, Madhusudan Reddy worked on nearly 125 films. Without him, there would have been technical impasse in Sound division of Tollywood. Hats Off to his pioneering work in audiography.
