The phenomenal success of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ can’t be put in words because it brought Amitabh Bachchan back in demand. Such is the stamina of TV circuit. After such a great success with reality game show, Amitabh Bachchan failed to strike big with fictional show of ‘Yudh’ starring Sarika, Zakir Hussain, Mona Wasu, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Kay Kay Menon. The psychological thriller directed by Ribhu Dasgupta was aired in 2014 as a 20 episode miniseries.
Now, Big B wants something like a breakthrough for ‘Yudh’ and is discussing the idea with Anurag Kashyap. ‘People did not like the story. Just by acting well things don’t work. We will try our hands again in future. We felt, we need to do something breakaway from current style of serials. We will try again and see how it goes,’ Amitabh said.
