We all have watched Aamir Khan’s Tare Jamin Par. The award-winning film about a dyslexic student and his aesthetic painting talent had a lukewarm audience response initially, but later it recorded significant jump in ticket sales.Similarly, the AB Corp’s Paa , directed by R Balakrishnan, groced about Rs 10 crore in just two days after its release.
The movie was produced by AB Corp in collaboration with Reliance Big Pictures. Moreover, it was a low budget film with just Rs.15 crore.Released internationally, Paa is based on a novel concept involving Auro, a 13-year child, who suffers a rare genetic disorder called progeria, which multiplies the ageing process and makes the kid look like a 65-year-old person. The film is expected to gross better in the box offices by the weekend.
