One movie of ‘Gabbar Singh’ changed the fate of Kamal Hasan’s daughter Shruti Hasan as she is now growing in demand not just in South but also in Bollywood. Yes, the actress is planning to slowly shift to Mumbai and as part of the process; she is informed to have purchased a two bedroom apartment in Andheri area becoming a neighbor to director Imtiaz Ali and heroine Prachi Desai. Till now, Shruti used to reside in a rented flat in Bandra and finally, she has got a new one of own.
In fact, ‘D Day’ which is releasing as ‘Gelupu Gurram’ in Telugu has given Shruti a much needed break in Bollywood attracting the top heroes and directors. Currently there are more than three to four projects in pipeline viz. ‘Tagore’ Hindi remake as ‘Gabbar’ with Akshay Kumar, ‘Welcome Back’ with John Abraham and an untitled movie with director Tigmanshu Dhulia.
