The huge uproar made by the media and film critics on “Ringa Ringa” song in “Arya 2” looks to have even jolted the censor board members. All those double meaning lyrics in the song has been replaced by other words and phrases but still the meaning looks obscene and perfectly censorable, say a film critic.
“Siggu Guththi” the most objectionable word in the lyrics of the song is now replaced by “Valapu Kanche.” When adult movie goers are able to understand each and every hidden meaning of the lyric and with audio already out in the market with old lyrics, how far are these amendments in the lyrics of this song help Censor board to justify themselves is a subjective matter.
Whether it may be “Siggu Guththi” or “Valapu Kanche”…both are broken by the hero and lyricist in the movie.
