‘Tuneega Tuneega’ heroine Rhea Chakavarthy has been molested in her own building in Mumbai in broad daylight. The incident has once again put check on the security of women in India. ‘Mumbai is so unsafe! It’s scary to another level. I am absolutely frustrated with the men in this country. Here this out, it’s ridiculous. I just got groped by a very well dressed man who casually walks into my building in broad daylight, with 2 watchmen chilling in the building. Luckily, I take martial arts classes and I managed to kick him real hard and screamed so he ran away. But Mumbai is suffocating unsafe. Just field an FIR, watching CCTV footage. I won’t let this go. Self defense works but my instant reaction was to freeze, however I managed to react. So it is very scary,’ Rhea said.
Later after filing the case with Khar Police, she thanked everyone who supported her. Currently, police are watching the CCTV footage and Rhea is sure of catching the stalker. In the past we have seen a similar incident happening for Shruti Hasan too.
