‘Basanti’ is a movie which generated lot of curiosity before its release due to its content, director Chaitanya Dantuluri and most importantly Brahmanandam’s son Raja Gautham tried his luck for third time after undergoing thorough training in all departments to prove himself as actor. However, the final result of movie might be good from critics point of view but from commercial perspective, ‘Basanti’ is running on a flat pace. Is Brahmi satisfied with the result? Getting into the recent past, Brahmi was so strategic calling ‘Basanti’ as a film which will bring good name to Raja Gautham but he never mentioned about the commercial range. Surely, Raja Gautham is an improvised actor and scored lot of positives with ‘Basanti.’ Irrespective of the BO collections, Brahmanandam can bag more roles for his son as hero now.
