The centenary celebrations of Indian Cinema kick started on Saturday, 21st of September in Chennai. Amidst the presence of bigwigs from all the film industries down South, the CM of Tamil Nadu, Mrs.Jayalalitha inaugurated the celebrations. She expressed her delight as the Indian cinema successfully completed 100 years. It is a known news that the Tamil Nadu government donated Rs.10 crores for these celebrations. PVP Cinema is organising the event spending a whopping budget of Rs.12 crores. The celebrations will be continued upto 24th of this month. On Sunday evening, 22nd September, the celebrations of tollywood will be done at the venue. Union Minister, Chiranjeevi will be attending these celebrations.Meanwhile, Jayalalitha felicitated a few bigwigs from different industries. Balakrishna, from tollywood, has received a memento.
