Many big producers have got fears releasing their movies due to ongoing political turmoil in the state. In this scenario, the makers of 'Toofan' dared to release their movie on September 6 across the state in maximum number of theaters. Many observers predicted the movie would surely be stopped by the agitators in the entire state. However, the movie recorded a safe run except a few theaters wherein the morning shows of the movie were stopped screening.
Speaking about the safe release of 'Toofan' to a newspaper interview, Mega Power Star Ram Charan attributed release credit of 'Toofan' to the people. He also opined that most of the people do not treat movies and politics with the same perceptive. Although the movie lost 25% of collections due to agitations on the opening day, it would not be as much if the movie getting delayed its release further. Meanwhile the makers of 'Atharintiki Daredi', 'Yevadu' and 'Bhai' are also set to announce the release dates of their movies soon.
