The bond and special adoration between a grandpa-grandson could not be put in words. Nandmauri Klayanram who recently produced and acted in ‘Om 3D,’ the first veer action 3D film on Indian screen shared some sweet experiences on how he entered into films, though he was a computer graduate by professional education.
‘It was the dream of by grand father NTR to see someone completing a PG from our family. I take a pride of being the first post graduate from Nandamuri family. When I just completed my graduation, I wanted to produce ‘Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo’ with my dad Harikrishna in the direction of YVS Chowdary. He pushed me to complete my MS first to fulfill the wish of my grand pa. To explain you, my grand father always insisted on education. I can still remember he was so pelased when I bagged 74 per cent marks in my class X board CBSE exams. Then he also helped me in securing a seat in BITS Pilani and gifted me Rs.1000 as a gift which I treasured till now,’ NKR says it with a smile.
