It was a bit delayed but Junior NTR’s super hit family entertainer ‘Brindavanam’ will now go to Bollywood as a remake. There were plenty of requests to Dil Raju from B-town producers regarding purchase of remake rights but finally Venkateshwara Hatcheries, the big player in Chicken and Poultry market of India bagged the rights paying Rs.70 Lakhs. In no hurry, they are negotiating with Salman Khan and a top Bollywood director to handle this project.
As we know, Sallu Bhai earlier delivered super hits with remake of Telugu films ‘Pokiri’ as ‘Wanted’ followed by ‘Ready’ as ‘Ready’ and now Chiranjeevi’s ‘Stalin’ coming as ‘Mental.’ This is a good choice because Salman fits thoroughly well into the role of Jr NTR which has good number of shades. Let us wait for few more updates.
