Young Tiger Jr.NTR's 'Baadshah' has generated huge positive buzz before its release and was sold out to record prices everywhere across the state. The positive talk on the release day of the movie was quite an encouraging response for the makers.
However, the downfall of collections from day four onwards appear that the movie is going to be a failure project in many areas of the state. In East Godavari area, the movie was sold out for an all time third record price of Rs.2.78 crores. The movie is likely to get Rs.1.70 to 1.75 crores at the end of its first week run. If the fall of collections are continued like this, the movie might end up with the collections of Rs.2.20 to Rs.2.50 crores. In West Godavari area, the situation appears more critical, as the movie was sold out for Rs.2.66 crores but it is collecting around Rs.1.40 crores at the end of its first week run. In Vizag area, the movie was sold out to Rs.4.10 crores. However, it is crossing just Rs.2.10 crores at the end of its first week run. If the same trend continues, the movie might end up with just Rs.3 crores collections in this area. And same is the case with other areas of the state.
However, trade sources are quite optimistic about the long run of the movie as they believe that the movie consistently get good collections for four or five weeks and bring profits for them. Let's heartily hope so.
