Veteran Rajasulochana is No More!

Pilliarchetty Bhakthavatsalam Naidu Rajeevalochana, well known to Telugu movie lovers as Rajasulochana is no more. The veteran actress who was also a classical dancer had acted in hundreds of films in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages has passed away today morning in Chennai. She was 77 years old and was survuived by two daughters. Her husband was the great director Late CS Rao.  

Rajasulochana was born on August 15, 1935 in Bezawada. Famous Kannada stage and screen maestro HLN. Simha gave her acting opportunity in Kannada film Gunasagari released in  1953 was produced by Gubbi Veeranna. Then her presence was felt in memorable films like 'Thatha Manavadu, Rangoon Radha, Sontah Ooru, Pandava Vanavasam, Mangalya Balam, Shanthi Nivasam, Thodukodallu’ and many more. Her last film was 'Thodi Kodallu' released in 1995. May her soul rest in peace.
