While legendary film maker Dasari Narayana Rao has openly supported the DTH release of 'Vishwaroopam' calling this development as a process of technological evolution, here comes director VV Vinayak disagreeing with the view. Of course, there are divided opinions among film circles here is one expressed by Vinayak on how the business of a film will be effected with such DTH trend.
'I oppose the move because audience can feel the real essence of a film when they watch it only on big screen. How can a Home Theatre or simple TV sets can generate a theatrical experience. Distributors will lose plenty of money and same will be the case with exhibitors if public beging to view the movie at home. If entertainment is the main moto of movie, people should enjoy it only in theatres,' Vinayak explained.
