Vishal and Trisha starrer 'Ventadu Vetadu' is the Telugu dubbed version to Tamil one 'Samar' directed by Thiru. After facing too many troubles getting ready for release on 28th of this month, a new controversy on payment of commission is irking the producer Thandra Ramesh now. As per media reports, producer cum distributor Malaysia Pandian has helped Ramesh in selling the distribution rights of film in overseas market for an awesome amount of Rs.1.25 Crores.
As per the agreement, Malaysia Pandian has to get 2% as commission from producer Ramesh which is Rs.2.5 Lakhs. While the release date of 'Samar' has been finalized and prints are disaptched, a hurried Malaysia Pandian has filed a complaint with Producers Council claiming that he is entitled for the commission which producer is trying to evade. Let us wait and see, whether 'Ventadu Vetadu' or 'Samar' will hit the screens on given date or be pushed to next year.
