Some days ago, a few of the media sources revealed that Rajamouli's 'Eega' collected Rs.130 crores. Some of the people suspected that Rajamouli himself revealed these fake figures to the media. However, one of the leading daily newspapers of AP published that 'Eega' collected a total of Rs.90 crores, which include audio rights, satellite prices, Hindi rights and other language versions. Also, it was revealed that the movie's Telugu version's share is Rs.33 crores which is very much nearer the shares given by us( Rs.30.69 crores). Rajamouli has reportedly gave these shares to the media to prove that he doesn't encourage fake collections. However, there was a little addition of the collections given by the newspaper and audio and other rights are not supposed to be included. In that case, 'Eega' has so far collected only Rs.50.29 crores including all the languages.
