‘Uu Kodatahra Ulikki Padathara’ was a prestigious project from Manchu family released under very high expectations with a magnificent star cast of Balakrishna, Manchu Manoj, Deeksha Seth and Lakshmi Prasanna. Given the kind of budget allocated and hype created around this lavish venture, Mohan Babu’s words before the press spelled lot of confidence and audience too have expected ‘UKUP’ as a path breaking flick to Manchu family’s piling disappointments.
Now, trade sources are calling that ‘UKUP’ is closed at a business of less than Rs.11 to 12 Crores which is absolutely below the benchmark of a successful BO hit film. This could adversely affect the other releases of Manchu family because nearly two more flicks are in making stages. Now, Manchu Lakshmi has to do something in order to bail this situation off.
