As Tollywood is shining these days with good number of hits, even the black ticket sellers maintained by theatre managements in Hyderabad are earning quick bucks at the behest of torturing family audiences. As ‘Eega’ and ‘Gabbar Singh’ dropped down in collections, now it is time for ‘Julayi’ to rock the Box Office. This movie is still going strong in second week.
As per the general trend, theater managements encourage their own workers to sell tickets in black for entire first week. With Fans of big heroes thronging to theatres, they don’t mind buying Rs.55 balcony ticket even for Rs.500. When it comes to second and third weeks, usually family audience prefers to visit cinema halls. In the case of ‘Julaayi,’ unfortunately tickets of all the four shows are blocked by theatre owners selling them at fancy rates at last hour without opening the booking counters.
Especially, we are hearing on complaints of family public from the areas of Moosapet (Sri Ramulu, Lakshmi Kala) and Kukataplly (Siva Pravathi) theatres which have become literal black market addas where one has to spend at least double of the ticket amount to enjoy ‘Julaayi.’ So, Bunny has become a costly deal for patrons.
Better, media and police should control this else people will automatically make use of torrentz or any other sites to watch a pirated version instead of pouring 100s of rupees on the faces of black ticket sellers. This could be further damaging. Well, this concept does not apply alone for ‘Julaayi.’
