Before the release of South Indian versions (Telugu, Tamil & Malayalam) of ‘Eega,’ director Rajamouli declared of a possible release of same with English sub-titles to serve the International audience. Now, that film is sitting on a gold mine with collections crossing the Bollywood releases like ‘Bol Bachchan’ by the completion of first weekend, surely Rajamouli’s confidence levels are very high.
As per now, more than International audience it’s our own North Indian public who are waiting for Hindi ‘Eega’ to hit the screens in a 3D version. Given the universal appealing emotion of revenge and vengeance dealt in an animated fashion, even our South public will run again to theatres if a 3D version is released in Hindi. Then, Jakkanna can think about English ‘Eega’!!!
