Sarabjit Singh, the case of a mistaken identity convicted by Pakistan Government for involvement in Faisalabad and Lahore Bomb Blasts in 1990 is getting good support from Bollywood Hero Salman Khan. Yes, the Star Hero has launched an on-line campaign in support for the release of Indian spy Sarabjit Singh mugging in Pakistan jail from last 21 years.
Salman got emotional when Sarabjit’s sister Dalbir Kaur pleaded External Affairs Minister SM Krishna for the release of his brother. Very soon, Salman has begun the campaign of ‘Free Sarabjit Singh’ requesting the Government and President of Pakistan to send Sarabjit back to his family. All the signed petitions from this campaign will be forwarded to Pakistan Government.
“For over 20 years, Sarabjit Singh is in a Pakistan prison for a crime he did not commit. He and his family have suffered for too long. Please sign this petition to appeal to the Pakistan government that he be freed and united with his family in Punjab," Salman posted on his charity foundation ‘Being Human’ website.
Yesterday Sarabjit’s sister Dalbir Kaur and two daughters Poonam, Swapnadeep met Salman Khan on the sets of ‘Dabangg 2’ to render thanks for his support. In fact, Sallu's upcoming 'Ek Tha Tiger' also deals with Indo-Pak bon of contention issues.
