Mega Power Star Ram Charan recently disclosed the fact that a special show of '3 Idiots' movie was arranged for him by the producers, as they thought he would accept to act in the Telugu remake of the movie. However, Ram Charan felt that he would not be suitable for that role and rejected to do the project.
Later, Gemini Film Circuit bought the film's remake rights for South India and confirmed Shankar as the director for Tamil and Telugu versions of the project. Vijay was selected as the hero for Tamil version, whereas Mahesh Babu was consulted for Telugu version. However, Mahesh Babu rejected the offer to act in the movie, since he felt Tamil actors are more in number in Telugu version of the movie as well. Not succeeding in their efforts, Shankar finally decided to directed only Tamil version of the movie and the same was dubbed into Telugu as well. The movie was released on 26th of this month and turned out to be a big failure at the box office. Now, fans of Ram Charan and Mahesh Babu are taking a sigh of relief looking the movie's fate at the box office and are quite happy with the decisions of their heroes for not accepting this project.
