Right from Sukumar to yesterday’s Venu Sriram, all of them banked on the same agenda and ‘Dil’ Raju has got good number of hits renaming himself as ‘Hit’ Raju.
After watching ‘Oh My Friend,’ one thing that would go through many of the minds is director Venu is a softer person than ‘Dil’ Raju. ‘Addition of n number of comedy episodes or sub plots could have disturbed the association of four lead characters with viewers in theatre. Venu seems to have taken this unidirectional approach in story telling not to deter the audience. He appears to be a squishy director,’ said a movie analyst.
