Ramgopal Varma is back in news after a long time. The movie is obviously ‘Bezawada Rowdeelu’ whose first schedule has been completed yesterday in Vijayawada and second is to start from June 10. There is severe opposition from Vijayawada public to stop the shooting for a reason that movie is based on gang wars and caste politics that rocked the temple town few decades ago.
‘What is the necessity to disturb the peace and tranquility by going for a movie that would project Vijayawada in a negative sense? We are not to question the fundamental rights of Varma but we do want him to disturb the peaceful atmosphere in the city with his film,’ said an advocate. Accordingly Vijayawada Police Commissioner is known to have warned Varma to submit a copy of script and get it approved before going for further shooting. This controversial flick is directed by Vivek Krishna.
