It has become a common feature to see that most of the movies that are coming in the Telugu industry have been showing foreign locations. Usually it is the songs that come up in the movies but those movies that have big budgets are now shooting overseas for most part of the film. This recent trend has picked up a lot and now the makers have gone a step further and are exploring remote places like Turkey and Iceland to bring the variety to the audience. Now, the question rises as to how economic is all this? Well, the industry sources say that when it comes to shooting for big budget films and that too with top stars, the foreign locations are always the best. Apparently, the clearance procedures are quite streamlined there, there are no bribes to be given to authorities, the locales are neat and scenic so not
necessary to go and make it ready. It is heard that instead of shooting for a film in an outdoor location of Mumbai for ten days, one can go ahead and do the same for twenty days or more in locations like Malaysia, Mauritius and other exotic places. Also, the big stars find it more secure unlike the mobs that gather here and so the shooting takes place without a hitch.
