Those were the times when Ramgopal Varma worked on a comedy subject ‘Anaganaga Oka Roju’ which was of course creative one with full support from Urmila and JD Chakravarthy and even Sri’s music was an asset. After a long time, ‘KSD Appalraju’ is considered the come back movie for Varma into Tollywood and this one is also a crude, comic satire.
With first two songs of the movie released into market, music lovers doubt whether Varma has lost his original touch. ‘Evadabba Soththu…’ and ‘Mayabazaar’ songs were orchestrated miserably and without Varma’s tag one can easily confer that this music belongs to a ‘B’ grade movie. None knows about the reason why Varma started eyeing on Tollywood again but for now real music lovers say that ‘KSD Appalraju’ has become a laughing stock not only for satires on well known cine personalities but also for its cheap music. Varma should understand the fact that standards of Telugu cinema raised from the times of 'Anaganaga Oka Roju' to 'Appalraju' and he fails to fit the bill at least with first two songs.
