Multiple controversies hit Jaat

Multiple controversies hit Jaat. Sunny Deol's Jaat directed by Gopichand Malineni is entertaining masses in Bollywood. The film marked the debut of Gopichand Malineni in Bollywood.

Even as masses are enjoying the film is hit by multiple controversies. First people from Tamil Nadu demanded ban on the film for the portrayal of LTTE. The controversy erupted over the film's depiction of a fictional terrorist outfit called the "Jaffna Tiger Force," which many viewers argue bears an unmistakable resemblance to the banned Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE). The LTTE remains a highly sensitive topic in Tamil Nadu due to its historical and emotional connections to the Tamil community.

Now Christians started opposing the film as they felt that the scene depicting Randeep Hooda insulted their faith. In one scene  Randeep Hooda is shown standing inside a church, beneath a crucifix placed above the sacred pulpit, while members of the congregation are seen praying. The scene also includes depictions of hooliganism and intimidation inside the church

People from Christian Community submitted a memorandum to the Joint Commissioner of Police after their protests at the theatres were stopped by the cops. They felt that the scene is a blantant and deliberate insult to their religion. They demanded action in two days or else warned that they will take the next course of action.
