After achieving massive theatrical success, Pradeep Ranganathan starrer comedy-drama Dragon is all set to make its OTT debut on Netflix. The film's OTT arrival is one of the most awaited ones in recent times, and with this movie's success, the young actor has cemented his place amongst the most promising young heroes of Kollywood. Dragon will be streaming from March 28th in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada on Netflix. The sensational blockbuster has collected around 120 Cr till now and is expected to easily achieve 150 Cr gross.
The film has done a pretty good job in Telugu states as well, with the Telugu version's worldwide gross being around 20 Cr for 11 days. Directed by Ashwin Marimuthu, Dragon also stars Kayudu Lohar, Anupama Parameswaran, George Maryan, Gautham Menon, and Mysskin among others. The film follows the life of a youngster's struggles and victories despite poor academics and how he has to return to his roots to complete his education. The strong run of Pradeep Ranganathan's Dragon continues, and it is expected to have a good run for another 2-3 weeks.
By this weekend, the film is expected to go near 135 Cr, and from there, collecting another 15 Cr is an easy task for the film. The film has also joined the 60 Cr gross club in Tamil Nadu, and the interesting thing is that Pradeep Ranganathan has 2 back-to-back 60 Cr grossers in Tamil Nadu, which is a huge achievement. Dragon is expected to do more than 90 Cr in a full run, and it will be the first one to do so from Kollywood this year. While a biggie like Vidaamuyarchi failed to achieve this milestone, Pradeep Ranganathan and Ashwath Marimuthu's film is set to achieve the same feat, which is a surprising thing.
