Reason Behind Daaku Maharaaj Underperformance In Theatres

Naga Vamsi Opens Up About Daaku

Balakrishna and Bobby's stylish action entertainer, Daaku Maharaaj, has become the most discussed topic on social media, with the film's clips going viral all over. The film's mass performance, Thaman's background score, and Vijay Karthik Kannan's spectacular visuals are being applauded by one and all. Despite receiving a positive response from critics, this action drama underperformed in theatres and failed to reach the breakeven mark in a few regions.

Producer Naga Vamsi recently shared his thoughts on the film's performance, stating that the momentum shifted in favor of Venkatesh's Sankranthiki Vasthunam, which became a blockbuster. He added that Daaku Maharaaj performed well in Balakrishna's strong zones, but it would have been great had the film got more reach in theatres. Naga Vamsi also expressed his happiness with the film's result, despite it not receiving the expected reception.

Naga Vamsi revealed that the film's success was affected by the release of Amaran, which also had multiplex appeal. He stated that Daaku Maharaaj was aimed at multiplex audiences, but it didn't get the expected reception. Despite this, the film has taken over Netflix charts, with its stylish action sequences and mass performance being widely appreciated.
