Netflix has acquired the digital streaming rights for a whopping ₹50 crore, the highest-ever deal for a Naga Chaitanya film.
The film's OTT release is expected to reach a much wider audience, with Thandel available in Hindi and all the Southern languages. Thandel was produced by Allu Aravind and faced budget overruns due to its expensive production scale. However, thanks to the record-breaking OTT deal and impressive theatrical collections, the makers have successfully recovered their investment.
