Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna's film Chhaava is going great guns at the box office. People are thronging the theatres to experience the visual spectacle of Chaava on the big screen. In the midst of all this, it is coming out that theatre screening Chhaava watched fire resulting in the disruption of the screening.
The incident happened in Select Citywalk Mall in Delhi. A spokesperson for the Select Citywalk Mall issued a statement and said, "We are aware of the short circuit incident which happened at the adjoining multiplex. We are assisting the multiplex team and the authorities, and extending full cooperation to them. There was no harm to any human life. Routine operations at Nexus Select Citywalk remain unaffected."
A fan shared "When people realised that the fire broke out inside the hall and smoke was billowing, people started screaming. It was a small fire. As the fire alarm went off, cinema hall staff came in and asked everyone to leave quickly,"
The film is a period drama on the life of legendary Maratha King Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.
