Pradeep Ranganathan who recently entered the hundred crore club with Love Today has come up with another film titled Dragon. Directed by Pradeep Ranganathan and starring Ashwath Marimuthu this movie was produced by Archana Kalpathi under the AGS brand. The movie got good talk and amazing collections in the weekend itself grossing more than 50 crores. The producer had invested around 37 crores in this movie but they recovered the amount after selling all the rights in advance.

Dragon movie is likely to create new records at the Kollywood box office and may join the hundred crore club this week itself. Pradeep Ranganathan has already earned a hundred crores with Love Today and now he is likely to earn a hundred crores again with Dragon movie. The movie has earned up to 25 crores in Tamil Nadu around 6 crores in Telugu and more than 4 crores in Kerala Karnataka and North all together. It has also earned up to 15 crores overseas taking the total collection to 50 crores in the weekend itself.

The story narration and ending written by Ashwath Marimuthu have moved everyone. The father sentiment and climax dialogue have left audiences in tears. Pradeep Ranganathan Anupama and Kayadhu Lohar have all acted wonderfully bringing good name to everyone. Dragon has further increased the craze for Ashwath Marimuthu as a director and it is known that Ashwath has announced that he will do a film with Pradeep Ranganathan again.
