Murugadoss shares Madharasi secrets.One of Kollywood actor Sivakarthikeyan upcoming projects currently known as SK23 is generating considerable buzz. Directed by AR Murugadoss this collaboration referred to as SKxARM has been officially titled Madharasi. The recently released second look poster and title reveal have sparked significant interest online.
In a recent interview AR Murugadoss shared insights into Madharasi delighting fans and followers. He described the film as incorporating elements of memory loss reminiscent of Ghajini alongside spy thriller themes involving guns like that of Thuppaki. Murugadoss hinted at a unique aspect to Sivakarthikeyan role promising a special announcement soon. For now he revealed that Sivakarthikeyan character will be unconventional.
The story of Madharasi begins from the perspective of people in North India. Madrasi is a term sometimes used by North Indians to refer to South Indians. While the use of this term has diminished in recent years Murugadoss explained that because the film explores how North Indians perceive those from the South he felt Madarasi was an appropriate title.
Kannada actress Rukmini Vasanth is set to play the female lead while popular Mollywood actor Biju Menon of Ayyappanum Koshiyum fame and Bollywood actor Vidyut Jammwal will be playing key supporting roles. Madarasi is currently slated for a summer 2025 release and will be available in Telugu Kannada Tamil and Malayalam languages.
