Its been over two months since the tragic stampede at Sandhya Theatre during the release of Pushpa 2 where 9 year old Sri Tej suffered severe injuries. Despite the passage of time Sri Tej remains unable to speak or recognize anyone and doctors have suggested that rehabilitation is the next step in his recovery. The Allu family led by Superstar Allu Arjun has been deeply invested in Sri Tej recovery with constant updates from the doctors at KIMS Hospital.
The Allu family has been in regular contact with the doctors attending to Sri Tej with Allu Arjun wife Sneha Reddy visiting the hospital last week to get an update on his condition. According to hospital sources Sneha was informed that Sri Tej is no longer on a ventilator but his brain cells have been damaged and he is unable to speak or recognize anyone. The doctors have advised that shifting Sri Tej to a rehabilitation center is the best option for his recovery.
The Allu family is scouting for the best possible rehabilitation center for Sri Tej in consultation with doctors and the boy father Bhaskar. They have even proposed some suggestions and are willing to support financially to ensure that Sri Tej receives the best possible care. Meanwhile the state government has deputed senior IAS officer Dr Christina Z Chongthu to monitor Sri Tej condition.
Sri Tej road to recovery is expected to be long and challenging but with the support of the Allu family and the medical team there is hope for his improvement.
