Madhavan talks about guiding his son Vedaant. Madhavan son Vedaant has been doing his parents and also the entire nation proud by winning medals in swimming at various national and international sporting events.
Vedaant as the free style swimmer won accolades as a five time gold medallist at the Malaysian Open a gold and silver medallist at the Danish Open and a bronze winner at the Latvian and Thailand Open. He also achieved a commendable fifth place at the Common wealth Youth Games.
Madhavan speaking about his son accomplishments said It feels really proud when common man comes up and says we like your work but we are so proud of you because of Vedaant. But I had to tell him that you know your life unfortunately or fortunately is going to be privileged because you are my son.
On the challenges his son faces Madhavan added You can't be seen with your shirt off and sleeping in any bed because one photograph of you in that kind of pose is national news. You can't afford to be as care free as your friends. You bear the responsibility of being recognised and being a role model.
