Ram Charan's Game Changer directed by Shankar hit the screens in a massive manner on 10 Jan 2025 amidst huge expectations as Sankranti special. Expectations reached skytop as Shankar is known for his hard hitting commercial entertainers loaded with extravagant visuals and Ram Charan is coming back with a full length role after the sensation of RRR.
The makers got a delight when Telangana government heeded to their request for a hike in ticket rates and also extra and benefit shows. However with in couple of days, the makers got a huge shock when the High Court reprimanded the Revanth Reddy sirkar as to why they gave green signal to the hike after all the tall claims in the assembly.
Following this, the Telangana government now revoked its decision and cancelled the hike in ticket rates and benefit and special show. Telangana government issued a fresh order which read “Further in compliance with the directions of the High Court, it is decided that early morning shows in the future will not be permitted until public interest, health and safety are duly considered.”
Earlier Game Changer makers drew flak for tall claims releasing the poster claiming that the film got Rs 186crs world wide collections despite empty theatres.
