Actor Manchu Mohan Babu has surrendered his licensed double-barrel gun to the Chandragiri police amid ongoing family disputes. The gun was handed over through his personal PRO, as per reports. The disputes between Mohan Babu and his son Manchu Manoj have been escalating over the past few days, prompting both parties to seek shelter from the police. As a precautionary measure, the police ordered them to surrender their guns.
The Rachakonda CP, Sudheer Babu, has assured that there will be no delay in the arrest of Mohan Babu, and everything will be done according to the law. Speaking to the media, he revealed that three FIRs have been registered so far in the Manchu family dispute. The investigation is currently underway, and a medical certificate will be obtained during Mohan Babu's interrogation. Notably, Mohan Babu has requested time till December 24 for the interrogation.
The police have given Mohan Babu time till December 24 to appear for interrogation. If he fails to do so, an arrest warrant will be issued. It's worth noting that Mohan Babu has two weapons, but they are not within the jurisdiction of the Rachakonda Commissionerate. Therefore, he deposited one of the guns in Chandragiri, Chittoor district. The police have also spoken to Manchu Manoj and Vishnu in this matter and have written a bond with both of them.
