Ticket Prices Slashed For Pushpa 2 After Initial Hike In Telugu States

Ticket prices reduced for Pushpa 2

Icon star Allu Arjun and creative director Sukumar's blockbuster 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' is creating a tsunami of collections with its blockbuster talk. The movie makers announced that it has collected Rs. 621 crore in just three days of its release, breaking box office records. However, the governments of the two Telugu states allowed the ticket prices of this film to increase, which led to a huge increase in prices, making many people hesitant to watch the film.

In response to the hike, the ticket prices of 'Pushpa-2' have been reduced from Monday, making it more accessible to the audience. The Telangana government had allowed the ticket prices to be increased in the form of slabs according to dates, with a hike of Rs. 105 in single screens and Rs. 150 in multiplexes from December 9 to 16. However, online platform Book My Show shows that the ticket prices have come down even more compared to the price increased in the Nizam area.

According to Book My Show, the ticket price in single screens is Rs. 200 (plus GST), while in multiplexes it is Rs. 395 (plus GST). Similarly, in Vijayawada, the single screen price is Rs. 220, while in multiplexes it is Rs. 300 only. In Visakhapatnam, the single screen price is Rs. 295, while in multiplexes it is Rs. 300-377. The reduced ticket prices are a welcome move for fans who were hesitant to watch the film due to the initial hike.
