Dhootha makes its presence felt at awards function. Naga Chaitanya made a daring and bold decision by making his debut on OTT with a webseries Dhootha. The webseries directed by Vikram Kumar captured the imagination of all.
The horror webseries which highlighted the journalistic values turned out tobe successful brining new found stardom to Naga Chaitanya. According to the latest,the webseries won many awards and accolades. Inside talk is the webseries went on to win at Asian Academy Creative Awards.
Earlier the webseries went on to win the Best Thriller/Horror Series at the e4m Play Awards. It also won the the Best Story, Best Action/Thriller, and Best Director at the Indian Telly Streaming Awards.
Sharat Marar bankrolled the project under the North Star Entertainment banner. Dhootha starred Parvathy Thiruvothu, Prachi Desai, Gnaneswari Kandregula, Anish Kuruvilla, Tharun Bhascker, Rohini, Tanikella Bharani, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Pasupathy in important roles.
