Shriya Saran has confirmed her involvement in Suriya's highly anticipated film, tentatively titled Suriya 44, directed by Karthik Subbaraj. Initially reported to perform a special dance number, Shriya revealed details about the song in an exclusive interview.
"I've done a song in it, shot beautifully and classy," Shriya shared, confirming her appearance. The song was filmed in Ooty, one of the movie's multiple locations, including the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Kerala, and Chennai. Santhosh Narayanan composed the music, aiming for an Alaipayuthey-inspired blend of action and love.
Suriya 44 boasts an impressive cast, including Pooja Hegde, Jayaram, Joju George, and Karunakaran. Suriya reportedly plays a gangster role. Meanwhile, Shriya recently starred in the Disney+ Hotstar series Showtime alongside Emraan Hashmi and Mouni Roy.
The film's release date remains unannounced, but fans eagerly anticipate the Karthik Subbaraj directorial.
