Priyanka Mohan Shares How She Landed a Special Role in Dhanush's 'NEEK'
National Award-winning actor Dhanush's directorial ventures continue to captivate audiences. After the success of his previous film 'Raayan', his third directorial, 'NEEK' (Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam), is set to hit theaters soon. The film features a talented ensemble cast, including Anika Surendran, Pavish, Priya Prakash Varrier, Matthew Thomas, Venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon, and Ramya Ranganathan.
Adding to the excitement surrounding the film is the recently released single, 'Golden Sparrow'. Featuring actress Priyanka Mohan, the song has become a sensation on YouTube, garnering over 50 million views and generating significant buzz for the youthful drama.
In an interview, Priyanka revealed the unique way she came to be involved in 'NEEK'. "Dhanush was talking about 'NEEK' during the shoot of 'Captain Miller'. One day, he called me and said there was this special song in the film. He asked me if I was interested in doing it," she shared.
"I took some time to give my nod," Priyanka added, explaining her careful consideration of the opportunity. "I am present in the full video song. We just released the lyrical video, but there is a hook step in it. The team wanted to introduce the youngsters through the song. There is one more special video related to the song, which will be unveiled close to the film's release."
Priyanka expressed her enthusiasm for the song, revealing that the team managed to shoot the entire video in just one day without any rehearsals. The charming actress will next be seen in 'Brother', starring Jayam Ravi, scheduled for a Diwali release.
