Rhea Chakraborty Gets Relief In Sushant Singh Rajput Case

SSR demise: Hot beauty gets relief

Rhea gets relief in Sushant Singh Rajput case. Supreme Court Dismisses CBI Petition in Rhea Chakraborty LOC Case.

The Supreme Court has dismissed a petition filed by the CBI, Maharashtra state, and the Bureau of Immigration challenging the Bombay High Court's decision to cancel the look-out-circulars (LOCs) issued against Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik, and her father Lt Col Indrajit Chakraborty in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.

The court labelled the petition "frivolous" and suggested it was filed solely because the accused were "high-profile." The Bombay High Court had previously cancelled the LOCs, allowing the Chakraborty family to travel abroad.

The court also allowed Rhea Chakraborty to travel to Dubai for a meet-and-greet event, despite strong opposition from the investigating agency. Earlier hearings had seen the court questioning the justification for issuing a lookout notice, citing the lack of substantial evidence beyond a first information report filed against the actress.

This decision marks a significant development in the case, with the Supreme Court effectively upholding the Bombay High Court's ruling and signaling a potential shift in the direction of the investigation.
